Why Do The Scriptures Use Myths?

In response to a post about the myths in the scriptures which are embraced by Fundamentalist Christians I wrote:

What is presented as myths in the scriptures are Universal Symbols and Catalysts of Consciousness that is common and valid to all of mankind and all seekers. As allegorical catalysts, these symbols connect the person you are in this world, with your Inner Self by employing the process of Anamnesis. -- which connects you with the inner Source of Knowledge that Pandeist Giordano Bruno stated exists within all of mankind -- but is ignored by those who fail to utilize the catalysts (quoting Bruno: "The Divine Light is always in man, presenting itself to the senses and to the comprehension, but man rejects it"). Science has already proven the existence of this Inner Source (see The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife ) -- but those who lack Self-Knowledge not only reject the symbolism without knowing their purpose and objective, but in their rejection they promote (self) ignorance among those who listen to them. And in its self-disenfranchisement, fossilized science invokes greater harm on mankind, than the Fundamentalist Christians who remain ignorant of the spiritual nature of religion (see The Science Delusion http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TheScienceDelusion ).

A person of Reason and Intellect should want to know why the authors of the scriptures composed their writings in allegorical symbolism -- why they used Universal symbols and mythology in their writings -- and how the catalysts were used to bring about the expansion and deepening of mind and consciousness. To condemn what you don't understand, is the equivalent of the ignorance of Martin Luther when he wrote: “Reason is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but - more frequently than not - struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes).

When you condemn what you do not understand -- and you make no effort to understand -- this is not the application of Reason -- but of profound ignorance. Deists should know and understand, rather than ignorantly condemn. In understanding and taking the previous articles entitled The god of the Theists vs the God of the Deists to the next level (see https://americancrisiscommonsense.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-god-of-theists-vs-god-of-deists.html ) -- and Deism vs the Folly of Revealed Religion (see http://americancrisiscommonsense.blogspot.com/2018/08/deism-vs-folly-of-revealed-religion.html ): In understanding the statement at Acts 17:28, “‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring’”, it is impossible for a single person such as the historical man Jesus to be God -- which is the case with corrupted Romanized Christianity.   But this fact was attested to by the very Ebionites who walked with the man Jesus, talked with him daily, and learned about the relationship of man to God directly from him (see The Ebionite Nazirenes http://OriginalGospel.Ebionite.com#Ebionite ).  Which demonstrates that the Deists were correct, and it was "priest-craft" and secular enforced Revealed Religion that created the god of Christianity.  Why did the Enlightened Deists of the past oppose the Church?  Because the faux-god of the Church flat-lines the mental and spiritual development of the believers.  Thereby rendering Enlightenment through evolved Intellect and Reason impossible to achieve for those who dwell under the shadow or Revealed Religion.
 
Those people who walked with Jesus and talked with him daily, attested to the fact that Jesus was a man of ordinary generation who became enlightened by fulfilling the Natural Law -- i.e., quoting the Church Father Hippolytus in his reference to the Ebionite Nazirenes  (Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34),  that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the (Natural) Law. He was the Christ (Anointed Mind) of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the (Natural) Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity".   The Enlightened Deists understood  this fact, and this is why they placed such importance on understanding The Laws of Nature and Nature's God.  And from a Deist perspective the above statement is of the utmost importance where it is noted that, "...Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ".  Which means that a Deist who understands the Natural Laws and uses this knowledge to bring about their own mental and spiritual advancement, is able to become of an Anointed and Enlightened mind -- exhibiting Intellect and Reason that enables such a Deist to understand what is impossible for the Theist who worships a faux-god to comprehend.   An example of an Enlightened Deist would be the Dominican friar, Giordano Bruno (see Spiritual Religion http://ThomasPaineRedux.com#SpiritualReligion ), who was burnt at the stake when he taught that the Jesus-god of the Church and the virgin birth was a hoax and a fraud. 

The grave mistake of the vast majority of people who call themselves Deists, is that they are consumed with condemning the Church -- without being able to assist the Christians to bring about their own mental and spiritual development.  Which can be portrayed as the proverbial jumping from the frying pan into the fire.  It is not enough to convey to Christians the need to turn away from priest-craft and abandon Revealed Religion, without providing them the means to not only understand the Natural Laws, but to employ this self-knowledge in the endeavor to become of an Enlightened Mind.  Especially in view of the fact that modern physicists have begun to prove the wisdom of mystics such as Giordano Bruno (see The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife ).  Only those who understand and learn to utilize the knowledge of the Laws of Nature and Nature's God, are able to gaze beyond the shroud of physical matter, and observe the underlying Forces of Mind that orchestrate all that mankind experiences.  Max Planck who is considered the founder of quantum theory stated: "As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." And more recently, cyberneticist David Foster described “an intelligent universe” whose apparent concreteness is generated by cosmic data from an unknowable, organized source. The holographic reality says that: “…our brains mathematically construct hard reality by interpreting frequencies from a dimension transcending time and space. The brain is a hologram, interpreting a holographic universe.” What this means is that what appears to be concrete matter is merely a vibrational frequency of generated-thought that your holographic brain interprets as concrete physical matter. And because the Source that is generating the image is beyond your brains perceptive-spectrum of frequencies, you are unable to perceive the Source of the appearances you are seeing that you erroneously interpret as concrete physical matter.  

Both Pythagoras and Giordano Bruno placed great emphasis on understanding the mathematics of the universe and the Natural Laws thereof.  And only now has modern physicists begun to prove what the mystics have known all along.   But what this also means is that it does not matter to proclaim a belief in the Natural Laws, and not to utilize the knowledge of the Natural Laws to bring about an Enlightened Condition of Mind that allows the person to perceive beneath the shroud of physical matter in order to observe the underlying causal factors that has orchestrated the realities of the life mankind is presently living out.   And this is exactly what the Enlightened Deists of the past accomplished.  Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson understood the UnAlienable God-Given Rights of man under the Laws of Nature and Nature's God, because they understood the workings of the Natural Laws of Creation.

Yesterday I presented the difference between the god of the Theists vs the God of the Deists (seehttps://americancrisiscommonsense.blogspot.com/2018/08/the-god-of-theists-vs-god-of-deists.html ). Because the Core Deists understood the workings of the Natural Laws, they rejected the tenets of Revealed Religion as a man-made dogma created by priest-craft whose doctrines totally alienated believers from their spiritual inheritance as the "offspring of God". It is easily proven that the Original uncorrupted Gospel taught that all of mankind could bypass the faux-prophets of this world, and communicate directly with Creator-God (see Wholeness of Mind & Being http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org#wholeness ) -- which proves that the doctrines of Revealed Religion were created to make believers dependent upon the Church.

 The Enlightened Deists of the past understood that the purpose of the Natural Laws was to evolve each Soul to a condition of Wholeness -- or, in the words of martyred Deist Giordano Bruno: "The divine perfection of the individual soul is the aim of all progression". And the Enlightened Deist understood that this was brought about by the Natural Laws over the course of many lives -- or, in the words of Bruno: "The soul is not the body and it may be in one body or in another, and pass from body to body". And since the Source of Divine Knowledge is within each of us, we don't need the priests of Revealed Religion to gain access into this Inner Source of Knowledge. In fact, the dogma of Revealed Religion inhibits believers from tapping into this Inner Source of Knowledge that exists within every person.

 The Natural Laws as portrayed in the core of Deism as the Clock-Maker Universe (see Clockmaker Vs Jalopy Universe http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#ClockMaker ), portrays the purpose of the Natural Laws in the process of evolving each Soul to its full stature in achieving Wholeness and Completion. And this is accomplished by the Natural Laws by confronting each Soul with their own actions and deeds which they carried out with their brothers and sisters. How does the Natural Laws of Creation accomplish this? Because this world is as a Living Bio-Feedback Organism that is charged with the responsible to evolve each person to their ultimate condition of Completion (see Living Bio-Feedback Organism http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#LivingBioFeedback ). Which means that the good in the world is the result of the Natural Laws returning to each Soul the good that they have previously brought about to their fellow mankind -- and all evil in the world is the result of the Natural Laws returning to each Soul the evil they perpetrated upon their fellow mankind. And the Enlightened Deists understood that the Soul evolves to Completion, Wholeness and Perfection, by confronting each person with their own actions towards their brothers and sisters. Theists have no understanding of the Natural Laws, because they have been duped into believing that they have a dispensation by virtue of their beliefs, and they cling to the faux-doctrine that they are not held accountable for their wrong actions (sin?) against their brothers and sisters.

 The doctrine that they are exempt from the Natural Laws has totally alienated the believers of Revealed Religion from understanding how the Natural Laws that were put into effect in the Alpha of Creation, are charged with the purpose of evolving each Soul to its ultimate potential.

What would Thomas Paine say to modern Deists?  By seeking higher knowledge and comprehending the Natural Laws, Deists understood that the god of the Theists were of their own creation. In one of the most ignored Gospel statements we are not only portrayed as the offspring of God, but as dwelling within the Mind of God -- i.e., “‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring’” (Acts 17:28 NIV). Put this together with the above statement by James Jeans that: “...the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine”. Or the words of Arthur Eddington: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff”. And you have portrayed a higher reality that few people are even prepared to contemplate -- much less, understand with sufficient degree to even form a realistic opinion.

A Deist who understands the Natural Laws understands that God is not a being who is separate from man -- but is the very Consciousness within which we move and have out being. Perhaps one of the best teachings (which was removed from the canonical Gospels by the Church, has been preserved in the outlawed Gospel of the Nazirenes, and is known as the parable of the fishes (quoting):

"And there were certain men, of doubtful mind, who came to Yeshua, and said to him, You tell us that our life and being comes from God, but we have never seen God, nor do we know of any God. Can you show us whom you call the Father-Mother, one God? We don't know if there is a God. Yeshua answered them, saying, Hear this parable of the fishes. The fishes of a certain river communed with one another, saying, they tell us that our life and being is from water, but we have never seen water, we don't know what it is. Then some among them, wiser than the rest, said, We have heard there dwells in the sea a wise and learned fish, who knows all things. Let us journey to him, and ask him to show us what water is. So several of them set out to find this great and wise fish, and they came at last to the sea where in the wise fish dwelt, and they asked of him. And when he heard them he said to them, O you foolish fish that don't contemplate! The few of you who seek, are wise. You live, and move, and have your being in the water; from the water you came, to the water you return. You live in the water, yet you don't know it.' In a similar manner, you live in God, and yet you ask of me, 'Show us God.' God is in all things, and all things are in God."

In not understanding the above and the MOVEMENT of the Natural Laws, it is impossible for the Theist to make any mental or spiritual gain. And this is also true of atheists who masquerade as Deists. If the foundation of Deism is the understanding of the Natural Laws -- especially within the Clock-Maker Universe Pattern -- then one of the primary goals is to fulfill the adage to Know Thyself -- i.e., your True-Self -- and only then can you begin to Know God -- within whom you dwell.

The New Emerging Body of Science Based Upon Natural Laws Proves Spiritual Religion

What is not understood by a great number of people who claim to be Deists, is the fact that the core principle of Deism which is the Clock-Maker Universe, cannot be understood without the knowledge of the Soul that evolves over the course of many lives (see Clockmaker Vs Jalopy Universe http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#ClockMaker ). Or, in the words of Deist Giordano Bruno: "The soul is not the body and it may be in one body or in another, and pass from body to body" -- AND "The divine perfection of the individual soul is the aim of all progression". And this perfection of the Soul is the purpose of the Laws of Nature and Nature's God that is the foundation of the Clock-Maker Universe vs the Theist perspective of God's Jalopy Universe.  In the below I demonstrate that the emerging body of science now has proven Giordano Bruno correct when he wrote that the infant's mind is not empty and in need of being filled when he wrote "Within every man there is a soul-flame, kindled at the sun of thought, which lends us wings whereby we may approach the sun of knowledge" -- and because the infant's mind is not empty, the child has the potential to tap into an Inner Source of Knowledge that can enlighten the Deist to all Truths that it is impossible for the Theist to understand. 
The dividing line of modern science is found in the question: Is an infant's mind empty and in need of being filled, or does the infant have the potential to tap into a much greater source of knowledge within himself? While the traditional legacy of science has opted for the empty-mind paradigm, the modern emerging body of science has proven the empty-mind paradigm to be gravely flawed -- as demonstrated at The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife -- and has in fact verified and proven the wisdom of the mystic who portrays the outer world as a type of illusion (see Plato - The Physicist http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#Plato ).

The True, Original purpose and objective of the Gospels was to connect the person you are in this world with this Inner Source of All-Knowing Knowledge (see The Reality Of Mind http://KnowThyself.Nazirene.org#TheRealityOfMind ). But the political forces who ruled the cultures over the previous 2000 years, totally corrupted the Gospel teachings. Thereby anchoring mankind into an abyss of dark ignorance from which they have only now begun to emerge.

The Soul of everyone reading this, has lived countless lives -- but you don't generally recall these previous lives, because you presently dwell in what the Gospels portray as the "outer darkness" of mind and being (see Spiritual Amnesia http://AnInconvenientTruth.org#SpiritualAmnesia ). And this condition of spiritual amnesia has been made worse, because academia is based upon the empty-mind philosophy -- which has totally derailed the development of the necessary Intuitive spheres of mind that is necessary to begin to tap into this Inner Source of Knowledge (see The Trinity - Divine Pattern - Linear vs Intuitive Development Of The Mind http://TreeOfLife.Nazirene.org/#Trinity ).
The problems with science is seen in the fact that their pursuit of facts and knowledge is based upon a three-dimensional physical reality -- and it is this three-dimensional reality that is now understood to be the major flaw that has undermined all scientific inquiry of the past. Science has not proven that what is seen with our physical eyes is as a shadow-image of a higher twelve-dimensional unseen Source (see The True Facts And Realities Of Life http://KnowThySelf.Nazirene.org#TrueFactAndRealitiesOfLife ). Which means that at best, the science of man's past is fragmented and incomplete. Quoting from the foregoing link:

The Findings Of The Physicist: When physicist Walter Thirring stated in his book, Urbausteine der Materie about the nature and reality of physical matter that modern physics “...has put our thinking about the essence of matter in a different context. It has taken our gaze from the visible - the particles - to the underlying entity, the field. The presence of matter is merely a disturbance of the perfect state of the field at that place; something accidental, one could almost say, a ‘blemish’. Accordingly, there are no simple laws describing the forces between elementary particles… Order and symmetry must be sought in the underlying field” -- what he was confirming is that what man sees with his physical eyes, is an image that has been projected into this world of appearances from an UNSEEN CAUSAL FIELD. In the same way, Einstein experienced shock when he first came into contact with the new emerging reality of atomic physics, and wrote in his autobiography: “All my attempts to adapt the theoretical foundation of physics to this [new type of] knowledge failed completely. It was as if the ground had been pulled out from under one, with no firm foundation to be seen anywhere, upon which one could have built”. In much the same fashion, the European physicist Niels Bohr stated that “…The great extension of our experience in recent years has brought to light the insufficiency of our simple mechanical conceptions and, as a consequence, has shaken the foundation on which the customary interpretation of observation was based.” What this means is exactly as stated by Einstein when he stated: “We may therefore regard matter as being constituted by the regions of space in which the field is extremely intense… There is no place in this new kind of physics both for the field and matter, for the field is the only reality” (quoted in M. Capek, The Philosophical Impact of Contemporary Physics). What is being stated is that the primary focus of science where only what was seen with one's physical eyes, has now been rendered inadequate and incomplete -- it being focused totally on observable matter -- because the emerging body of facts and evidence now demonstrates that what we perceive physically, is a projection from an UNSEEN Source where True Reality exists. Which provokes the question: What is being projected? Thus, the statement by astronomer James Jeans: “Today there is a wide measure of agreement… that the stream of knowledge is heading towards a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine”; and the statement by astronomer Arthur Eddington: “The stuff of the universe is mind-stuff” -- both demonstrate the reality that there is nothing but Projected Thought. Which means that you are a thought that is being projected in this world by your True-Self that dwells in the reality of an UNSEEN CAUSAL FIELD.

If what we see is a projected image from an UNKNOWN SOURCE that is beyond our physical senses to perceive and investigate -- i.e., what the modern physicist portrays as a "blemish" created by the intersecting forces in an UNSEEN Field -- then we must pose the question: What does Higher Reality look like? Until we are able to gaze into, or enter into the Source-Field, we don't know? And so long as we are totally reliant upon our physical senses, we will remain unable to answer this question. What this means is that the true reality of what we see with our physical senses, spans a multi-dimensional reality where the Causal Factors exist in an UNSEEN REALM that projects incomplete and even allegorical images into this physical realm where mankind interacts with these projected images -- the Source of which, exists in an UNSEEN dimension that physicists portray as a (Ætheric) Field. What this also means is that there exist Unseen Causal Factors and Laws that are the direct Cause of what we perceive with our physical eyes and senses. And just as important is the reality that what we portray as scientific Facts, is not only multi-dimensional, but these facts span an Unseen Reality which both the Source, and man's higher reality, lie beyond our vision and organic natural understanding. So, when we make reference to scientific or physical facts, we must be cognizant of the reality that the True Facts of Life exist in an Unseen Source that is beyond over physical perception and understanding. Which means that so long as we remain unable to gaze into the Unseen Field, we remain totally ignorant of the Causal Factors of the very life we are living -- as well as the Causal Factors in the world about us. And so long as we remain unable to perceive into the Unseen-Field-Source, everything be think we know is merely blind-belief.
The Atheist who is of a linear-mindset, demands that you prove man's higher spiritual reality exists in their laboratory environment. In an article Things That Science Can't Explain by Dr. Claude Swanson, he writes: "There are many things modern science cannot explain, and yet they occur anyway. This includes phenomena in the 'hard sciences' as well as in the paranormal. These effects are now being proven in the laboratory, even though they defy present scientific theory. These unfolding mysteries point the way to a new, deeper science, a science which no longer denies spirit and consciousness, but acknowledges and embraces them. In the past three decades scientific evidence has accumulated showing that the present scientific paradigm is broken."

The problem is that the emerging body of science which is explored in the above, demonstrates that the vision of the mystic in the analogy of Plato's Cave is valid -- and what man sees with his physical senses is not the Source -- which Source exists in the unseen Forces and Realities that are beyond man's organic vision. If they can't see it, then from their perspective, it does not exist. The reality portrayed by modern physicists that what organic man sees with his physical eyes is a shadow-image of a higher unseen reality, simply boggles their mind. Because they have been proven wrong, they remain in denial of the fact that because what is portrayed as the Source is not within the spectrum of frequency that man can perceive with his physical eyes, then it does not exist. Because of the Natural Laws that I explore in The Enigma Of The Segmented Mind at http://OuterDarkness.Nazirene.org#SegmentedMind , it remains virtually impossible for them to conceive of the existence of an unseen reality -- much less an unseen reality that is the true source of what man's sees with his physical senses.

In the same way that sound exists outside the spectrum of human hearing -- and yet, there is no way to prove its existence by normal hearing. Those who remain in denial of the emerging scientific picture can be thought of as requesting that someone build a flute or some other instrument that plays in the frequencies above and below what humans can hear, so that when the flute is played, they can verify the existence of that sound. And they attempt of maintain that if you can't build the flute so it plays these frequencies, then the frequencies do not exist. The same is true of what physicists portray as the (unseen) causal Field which they portray as the Source of what we see -- but the frequencies are beyond normal human vision.

In his book, Urbausteine der Materie, physicist Walter Thirring wrote about matter that modern physics “…has put our thinking about the essence of matter in a different context. It has taken our gaze from the visible - the particles - to the underlying entity, the field. The presence of matter is merely a disturbance of the perfect state of the field at that place; something accidental, one could almost say, a ‘blemish’. Accordingly, there are no simple laws describing the forces between elementary particles… Order and symmetry must be sought in the underlying field.” What this means is that what we see is only a fragment of reality -- and like the proverbial iceberg, the unseen is far greater than what is seen that is portrayed as a "blemish" within the Greater Field.

Mystics have since the dawn of time understood that if you develop man's latent abilities, that he possesses the ability to see beyond the spectrum of frequencies that fall within normal human vision. And this same reality is apparent in Jesus' statement in the Gospel of Thomas: "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you...".

The analogy of Plato's Cave demonstrates that man has the ability to develop to the degree that he can enter what the physicist now portrays as the Causal Field (Source) that man's organic vision is blind to. And in the same way that you can't play frequencies beyond human hearing so that man can hear them with his natural ears, neither can you perceive those frequencies beyond the spectrum of natural human vision -- and yet, these unseen realities not only exist, they are the source and cause of what transpires in this world. Like the shadow-images in Plato's Cave.
